Job summary

RE Partners in Canary Wharf is seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager to lead banking & software delivery initiatives. You will own delivery plans, milestones and risks while coordinating across engineering, product, QA, infra, security and business stakeholders.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in project management with a strong software background, experience in banking tech, and fluency with APIs, cloud, data platforms, and SDLC practices. Hybrid role, 2–3 days onsite.

Qualifications

7+ years in project or program management with software delivery ownership.
Strong software engineering background or architectural experience.
Experience delivering technology initiatives in banking/financial services.
Understanding of APIs, integrations, databases, cloud, and architecture.
Experience with full SDLC, Agile delivery, CI/CD, testing, releases, production readiness.
Able to explain technical issues clearly to business leaders.

Responsibilities

Own delivery plans, milestones, budgets, dependencies, risks and outcomes.
Lead cross-functional delivery with engineering, product, QA, infra, security and business.
Assess solution options, integration dependencies, and technical trade-offs.
Coordinate requirements, development, testing, UAT, release readiness, and post-release reviews.
Manage execution in Jira and provide reporting on progress, blockers and decisions.
Analyze complex datasets and present actionable recommendations and executive insights.
Utilize AI tools to improve analysis, reporting, documentation and delivery efficiency.
Incorporate governance, risk and compliance into delivery planning.
