Job summary

System C is seeking a Senior Procurement Specialist in Liverpool to lead end-to-end sourcing across renewals and new deals for software, SaaS, cloud hosting and IT services. You will partner with spend owners to shape requirements, run negotiations with Legal, and manage a contract/renewals pipeline with strong governance.

Qualifications

• Experience owning end-to-end procurement and negotiations for technology, SaaS or services.
• Track record of delivering commercial value through renewals and competitive sourcing.
• Confidence with pricing models including licensing, SaaS and consumption-based pricing.
• Strong stakeholder management with ability to influence and present clear recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end procurement and sourcing across renewals and new deals, including software, SaaS, cloud hosting, IT services and professional services.
• Partner with spend owners to shape requirements, engage the market and ensure Procurement is involved at the right stage.
• Lead commercial negotiations with Legal, covering pricing models, renewals, obligations and exit arrangements.
• Manage a pipeline of contracts and renewals, prioritising work and keeping activity on track.
• Ensure spend over £25k is reviewed for pricing, governance and compliance.
• Ensure procurement activity complies with internal policies, controls and governance.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings, supplier rationalisation and process improvement.
• Support supplier performance management with KPI-driven reviews.
• Work with Compliance to identify and manage supplier risk (security, data protection, financial stability, continuity).
• Support sustainable, ethical and transparent procurement in line with System C policy.
