Job summary

Bramwith Consulting is recruiting a Procurement Category Manager for IT & Technology within a major Financial Services organisation. The role is based in Buckinghamshire or Glasgow with hybrid working, offering £75,000-£80,000 plus car allowance and bonus and benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in strategic sourcing / procurement, with Technology exposure.
• Experience across Software and IT Services rather than a single sub-category.
• Track record of developing category strategies and delivering through sourcing.
• Strong commercial and negotiation experience with complex technology contracts.
• Experience in a large, global or highly matrixed organisation.
• Good understanding of UK commercial and contractual considerations.
• Strong stakeholder management with Technology, Finance, Legal and Procurement.

Responsibilities

• Own a broad portfolio across Software, IT Services and wider Technology spend from strategy to sourcing execution.
• Lead complex sourcing and negotiation activity with strategic technology suppliers.
• Support a major integration programme and manage contractual changes.
• Develop local category strategies aligned with global procurement and technology plans.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to translate demand into an executable sourcing pipeline.
• Identify savings and value while meeting regulatory and risk requirements.
• Collaborate with local and international category teams while supporting a small team.
