Job summary

Morgan Stanley is seeking an experienced electronic trading tech lead to advance its delta1 algo trading systems. You will build, deploy and support trading strategies, analytical tools and scalable trading engine infrastructure in a fast-moving IT/quant team.

The role requires strong Java development, front-office collaboration and the ability to work across global teams on varied projects in a high-performance environment.

Qualifications

• Expert-level Core Java knowledge in UNIX/Linux environments.
• Front-office trading experience with quant teams.
• Experience with algo trading in liquid markets (equities, FX, rates).
• Experience with low-latency pub/sub messaging systems.
• Knowledge of electronic trading: cash/ETF/futures preferred; liquid rates/FX acceptable.
• Strong problem solving and ability to translate requirements into design.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance trading strategies and engines in Java.
• Collaborate with global trading, quant and IT teams to advance platform.
• Manage full software lifecycle from requirements to deployment.
• Work on high-volume, low-latency, resilient, scalable systems.
