Job summary

UBS Group AG in London seeks a seasoned Loan Product SME / Technical Business Analyst to join a project team delivering a LoanIQ implementation and loan migration for a major bank. You will bridge business, engineering and QA to define, prioritise, and deliver robust integration solutions.

You will collaborate with Front Office, Operations, Finance and IT, support UAT, ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and governance, and translate business needs into detailed user stories and

Qualifications

• SME knowledge of Lending Products and Syndicate Lending businesses.
• Experience in banking/financial services BA.
• Experience on a Front-to-Back Lending Platform.
• Experience with stakeholders across Loan Ops, Finance and Quants.
• Understanding of Accounting terminology.
• Strong understanding of integration design and data flows.
• Agile (Scrum, Kanban) experience.
• Ability to use AI tools in BA workflows responsibly.
• Curiosity about applying AI to improve workflows with governance.

Responsibilities

• Loans business analysis, requirements gathering and SME expertise for migration and feed implementation. Areas to cover include Accounting & General Ledger processing, Operations cash management and settlement processes, Delayed Compensation and Regulatory Deliverables.
• Analyze impact of changes on front-to-back systems flows and architecture.
• Gather business requirements and create detailed specifications.
• Liaise with stakeholders across Front Office, Operations, Finance & IT to ensure seamless integration across all dependent interfaces, feeds & reporting.
• Assist users in setting up/executing User Acceptance Testing.
• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and compliance frameworks
• Liaise with Product Owner to define user stories, acceptance criteria, and product backlog items

You\'ll be working in the Global Banking Loans team focusing on creating the best loan execution and processing capabilities across Group UBS & in the industry.

Your Skills And Experience

• SME Knowledge of the Lending Products and the Syndicate Lending business as well as a deep understanding of upstream and downstream enterprise level dependencies.
• good experience in Business Analysis in banking / financial services.
• Experience of working on a Front-to-Back Lending Platform.
• Extensive experience of working with stakeholders across Loan Operations, Finance and Quants to deliver large change projects.
• Understanding of Accounting terminology and practices.
• Strong understanding of integration design and data flows.
• Agile methodology experience (Scrum, Kanban).
• Good communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
• Practical experience leveraging AI tools in Business analysis workflows, such as:
• Generating comprehensive documentation
• Enhancing stakeholder communication and reporting using AI tools
• Identifying opportunities to embed AI-driven features into products
• Ability to apply AI tools responsibly to improve productivity and quality while maintaining governance and standards
• You\'re curious to explore how AI can improve how we build, deliver, and optimize workflows. You do this with sound judgment – validating outputs and aligning with policies, risk standards, and ethical use.
