Key Responsibilities

We're looking for a seasoned LoanIQ SME with Business Analysis skills to join a Project Team to provide LoanIQ Analysis and SME expertise and direction as part of a LoanIQ implementation for a major bank. You will act as the bridge between business stakeholders, engineering teams, and QA to define, prioritise, and deliver robust integration solutions.

• LoanIQ analysis, requirements gathering and SME expertise for LoanIQ implementation and integration. Areas to cover will include Accounting & General Ledger processing, Operations cash management and settlement processes, Delayed Compensation and Regulatory Deliverables.
• Analyze impact of changes on front-to-back systems flows and architecture.
• Gather business requirements and create detailed specifications.
• Liaise with stakeholders across Front Office, Operations, Finance & IT groups to ensure seamless integration across all dependent interfaces, feeds & reporting.
• Assist users in setting up/executing User Acceptance Testing.
• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and compliance frameworks.
• Liaise with Product Owner to define user stories, acceptance criteria, and product backlog items.

The team

You’ll be working in the Global Banking Loans team focusing on creating the best loan execution and processing capabilities across Group UBS & in the industry.

Your Skills And Experience

• SME Knowledge of the LoanIQ application/data model and/or Syndicate Lending business, as well as version 7+ of the LoanIQ application.
• Senior level experience in Business Analysis in banking / financial services.
• Experience of working on a Loan Platform migration to LoanIQ.
• Extensive experience of working with stakeholders across Loan Operations, Finance and Quants to deliver large change projects.
• Understanding of Accounting terminology and practices.
• Strong understanding of integration design and data flows.
• Agile methodology experience (Scrum, Kanban).
• Good communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
• Practical experience leveraging AI tools in Business analysis workflows, such as:
• Generating comprehensive documentation
• Enhancing stakeholder communication and reporting using AI tools
• Identifying opportunities to embed AI-driven features into products
• Ability to apply AI tools responsibly to improve productivity and quality while maintaining governance and standards.
• You’re curious to explore how AI can improve how we build, deliver, and optimize workflows. You do this with sound judgment – validating outputs and aligning with policies, risk standards, and ethical use.
