The Prospere Learning Trust is seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant/Teaching Assistant Level 4 (SEN) to join Camberwell Park Specialist School. This permanent role runs 35 hours per week during term time plus 5 INSET days, with a starting salary of £28,507 and full-time equivalent £33,143 (Grade 6).

You will support pupils with social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties, as well as complex learning needs, planning and leading activities and providing learning support under teacher

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children/young people with social, emotional, behavioural difficulties
• Proven ability to plan, deliver and assess learning activities
• Numeracy and literacy at GCSE level 9-4 / A*-C or higher, NVQ3 or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Provide class cover for short/long-term absences, including planning, preparation, assessment and reporting
• Assess student needs and adapt teaching to maximise access to learning
• Build positive relationships and model appropriate conduct for learners
• Support development/implementation of individual Education/Behaviour/Support/Mentoring plans
• Contribute to progress feedback and maintain evidence of attainment
