Job summary

Ashton on Mersey School in Sale is seeking a Teaching Assistant Level 3 to support pupils' learning and development under the guidance of teaching staff. You will provide support to individuals and groups, assist with planning and delivery of learning activities, and help create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

This role may involve supporting pupils with additional needs and delivering targeted interventions to help all learners achieve their potential.

Qualifications

• 5 GCSEs including Maths and English (grade 4-9) or equivalent essential
• Excellent numeracy/literacy skills - equivalent to NVQ Level 2 in English and Maths
• Qualification in Level 3 Cover Supervision, HLTA or equivalent essential
• NVQ level 2/3 or equivalent in relevant discipline essential

Responsibilities

• Support pupils' learning and development under direction of teaching staff
• Provide support to individuals and groups during learning activities
• Assist with planning and delivery of learning activities and preparation of resources
• Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment
