Job summary

New Bridge Group is seeking two Level 2 Teaching Assistants for Samuel Laycock School in Ashton-under-Lyne. The role supports students with special needs, assists the class teacher, and helps differentiate learning activities to maximise engagement.

The successful candidates will have experience with young people with challenging behaviour, strong welfare focus, and a collaborative approach. Salary is on NJC scales with SEN allowance; full-time hours apply.

Qualifications

Experience working with school-aged children, including those with challenging behaviour and complex needs.
Experience in supporting teaching and learning in a special needs setting.
Ability to monitor progress and provide regular feedback to stakeholders.
Experience collaborating with teachers to differentiate interventions.
Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development.
