Job summary

The Dean Trust's Ashton on Mersey School in Sale is seeking a Teaching Assistant Level 3 – SEN to support pupils and work under the direction of teaching staff.

You will assist with planning and delivery of learning activities, prepare resources, and help create an inclusive learning environment, including support for pupils with additional needs. The role is permanent, 36.25 hours per week, term time plus INSET days.

Qualifications

• Completion of DfES Teacher Assistant Induction Programme.
• Sound knowledge of literacy/numeracy KS3 strategies and curriculum.
• Ability to work as part of a team and build good relationships.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils' learning and development under the direction of teaching staff.
• Assist with the planning and delivery of learning activities and prepare resources.
