Job summary

Academics are seeking a Senior Teaching Assistant for a full-time, temp to perm role in a secondary school in the Lymington/New Forest area. You will work in an Alternative Provision with pupils at risk of exclusion, helping document EHCP plans and support transitions back to the main classroom.

The ideal candidate will have Maths and English at C/4 or above and a calm, nurturing approach. A driver or local resident is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have Maths and English at C/4 or above.
• Experience supporting pupils with additional needs or EHCP processes is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support secondary pupils with core subjects.
• Assist with documentation for EHCP processes and education plans.
• Assist in delivering online learning and transition back to main classroom.
