Salary: Grade 5 SCP 11-19 (£27,269- £31,067) Pro Rata
Hours: 32.5 hrs per week, Term Time, 39 weeks pa
Required from 1st September 2025
We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and dedicated Grade 5 Teaching Assistant to plan and deliver ALN and catchup provision, support pupil wellbeing and provide cover supervision at Trelai Primary School. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about teaching and learning, have an excellent knowledge of child development and build highly effective positive relationships with children, staff and parents and promote the wellbeing of all.
We are looking for a Grade 5 Teaching Assistant who;
• Has energy, enthusiasm and commitment to enable every child to be successful
• Is innovative and flexible in their approach and quick to take on new initiatives
• Has excellent classroom management abilities
• Offers exciting and stimulating lessons and provision
• Is dedicated to the achievement of all
• Has excellent literacy and numeracy skills
• Is able to lead and work as part of a team
• Is able to lead a team of TAs to provide highly effective playtime supervision and play experiences that enrich pupils’ wellbeing and social skills
• Is committed to the highest expectations of achievement and behaviour and to continuous school improvement
• Enjoys a challenge and has the determination to make a difference
• Is able to develop positive relationships with all members of the school community
• Communicates effectively with parents, carers and members of staff
• Is committed to professional development
• Complies with whole school safeguarding measures
• Has a good understanding of children’s social, emotional and behavioural needs as a barrier to learning and share in the schools commitment to improving life opportunities of the children in our school
