Job summary

Affinia is seeking an experienced Corporate Tax leader to join the Tax department in London. You will manage a large portfolio of corporate entities, oversee compliance cycles, and deliver high-quality tax reporting while identifying planning opportunities and supporting business growth.

You will mentor junior staff, lead client meetings with complex clients, and collaborate with other service lines to provide joined-up services.

Qualifications

• CTA qualification preferred.
• Strong tax technical knowledge and advisory experience.
• Aspiration to further your skill set.
• Ability to spot tax planning opportunities and progress autonomously.
• Proven track record of managing a varied tax portfolio.
• Ability to lead others and work autonomously.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of corporate entities across owner-managed businesses to large groups.
• Oversee the complete compliance cycle, reviews, and HMRC submissions.
• Lead annual filing processes and identify planning opportunities for clients.
• Mentor junior tax staff and contribute to internal tax training.
• Build strong client relationships and act as a trusted advisor in meetings.
