Job summary

Affinia, the UK’s largest purpose-led accountancy firm, is seeking a Senior Tax professional to join its hybrid tax team in London. You will manage a varied portfolio, support compliance cycles, and contribute to advisory projects while collaborating across departments.

The role emphasizes ownership of client work, development of team skills, and leadership potential within a flexible, hybrid environment. CTA/ATT qualification is valued as you progress.

Qualifications

• Qualified ATT or close to qualifying.
• Excellent communication skills with multiple stakeholders.
• Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
• Strong core knowledge of tax laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with a large portfolio of corporate entities from owner-managed businesses to groups.
• Support the Tax Team with compliance cycles and HMRC submissions.
• Assist with advisory and project work for clients.
• Provide high-quality services, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Contribute to the team’s objectives by sharing knowledge and ideas.
• Participate in client meetings to understand tax needs and provide solutions.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure client satisfaction.
• Identify opportunities for tax planning and communicate them to management.
• Engage in professional development to enhance tax knowledge.
• Involve in business development to promote Affinia and services.
