We’re recruiting on behalf of a progressive accountancy firm that’s committed to delivering exceptional corporate tax services through a personal, tailored approach. Their Rugby-based team is growing fast, and they’re now looking for a Senior Corporate Tax Manager to step in, take ownership, and help shape the future of the department.

Role Responsibilities

• Review corporation tax returns and computations for a diverse client base
• Provide clear, practical tax advice to clients, including on payments and liabilities
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, HMRC, and third parties
• Support partners and directors in delivering high-value tax planning strategies
• Manage WIP and billing, ensuring strong recovery rates and effective time management
• Lead portfolio management while mentoring and supporting junior team members
• Meet with prospective clients and play an active role in business development

Candidate Requirements

• CTA and/or ACA/ACCA qualified (or QBE with significant experience)
• Significant experience in corporate tax, ideally within a UK practice setting
• Strong technical and commercial knowledge across a range of tax areas
• Ability to lead advisory projects and manage risk effectively
• Excellent client-facing skills and clear communication at all stakeholder levels
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a desire for continuous improvement
• Proven leadership and people management experience
