Job summary

Aon in London seeks a Senior Associate Tax Insurance professional to support M&A-related tax structuring within Transaction Solutions. The role blends transactional tax expertise with client-focused delivery in a hybrid London office.

Qualifications

• Manager-level in M&A tax, preferably in Big 4 or legal firm, specialising in international tax.
• Strong understanding of tax principles, compliance, and regulations, with exposure to transactional tax matters.
• Experience in a Transfer Pricing team with a broader tax background is advantageous
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability and desire to build relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Demonstrated curiosity about business development activities and client presentations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex tax issues effectively.

Responsibilities

• Support the structuring and placement of sophisticated tax risks in the insurance market to remove barriers to M&A deals (or it might involve risk transfer in a non-transaction context).
• Leading day to day delivery of broking placements - including client and insurer engagement, preparation of insurer submissions, drafting of client reports, project managing the underwriting process, and handling policy binding
• Supervise post transaction handling of invoicing and collating post-deal marketing collateral.
• Manage collaborator relationships (with client and adviser relationships being key to business generation).
• Boost understanding of the broader AMATS capabilities to effectively connect with collaborators.
• Assist with proposals/pitches and developing the team's pipeline.
