Job summary

Space 8 Recruitment is supporting a well-established accountancy practice in Leeds to recruit a Senior Tax Advisor. The role reports to the Tax Partner and involves leading tax projects, optimising tax strategies, and mentoring junior staff.

The ideal candidate will be CTA qualified with extensive direct tax expertise and a track record in corporate tax planning. A competitive salary (up to £90k), flexible hours, and enhanced benefits are on offer.

Qualifications

• CTA qualification and strong knowledge of direct taxes (Corporation Tax, Income Tax, Capital Gains Tax, Stamp taxes, Inheritance Tax, Employment Tax) required.
• Experience in advising on corporate reorganisations and share schemes is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee timely completion of tax projects such as corporate reorganisations and employee share initiatives.
• Develop detailed project plans with clear timelines and deliverables.
• Review work of team members and support their development.
