Job summary

A national accountancy firm in Leeds is looking for a Corporate Tax Director who can lead a substantial portfolio of corporate clients across compliance and advisory work. You will be the clients' first call, guide transactions, and shape the local practice with senior management input.

CTA and/or ACA are expected, with a proven track record in complex corporate tax and strong network in the region. Hybrid working, mentoring, and structured career development are part of the package.

Qualifications

• CTA and/or ACA qualification or equivalent Senior Manager or Director experience in practice.
• Deep corporate tax knowledge and a track record on complex issues.
• Comfortable dealing with client senior management and running a portfolio profitably.

• Running large and complex projects, including transactional tax work.
• Reviewing and signing off final advice to clients.
• Winning new work, both from existing clients and through your own network, and cross selling across the firm.

Job description

I'm recruiting a Corporate Tax Director for a national accountancy firm in Leeds. It's probably worth a look if you're an established Senior Manager or Director in practice with a client following of your own, and you want a bigger platform to grow it. You'll lead your own portfolio and be the person clients call first, with real scope to shape where the local practice goes next. The firm A large practice with offices across the UK and an international network behind it. The Leeds tax team is well established and works closely across corporate, indirect, employment and private client tax. The corporate tax work leans towards larger corporates with an international footprint, private equity backed businesses and transactions. There is also a lot of opportunity sitting in the wider office, across audit, deals and consulting relationships.

The role

• An existing personal network in the region is a real advantage
