Job summary

Huel is seeking a Senior Systems Manager to own NetSuite day-to-day operations, including governance and issue resolution, and to manage Celigo integrations with our 3PL warehouses and Amazon.

You will collaborate with stakeholders across finance, operations and other departments to translate requirements into scalable NetSuite solutions, while exploring automation and AI to drive efficiency and data quality. Lead and upskill two direct reports in a fast-paced environment.

• Proven NetSuite expertise in a business-critical environment.
• Understanding of end-to-end Supply Chain and Finance processes in NetSuite.
• Ability to own and maintain a difficult, high-availability system.

The role

• Own NetSuite day to day: Take ownership of one of our business-critical systems, ensuring it remains reliable, secure and well controlled. Resolve issues quickly and make sure configuration, access and change are well governed at all times.
• Manage our Celigo landscape: you will be responsible for the integrations connecting NetSuite to our 3PL warehouses and Amazon. We run Celigo in-house, you don’t need to be an expert from Day 1 but you do need to be eager to learn.
• Design and deliver system improvements: Work with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective NetSuite solutions, from smaller configuration changes through to more complex cross-functional projects. You’ll confidently challenge requirements, design the right approach and work with our implementation partners where specialist support is needed.
• Find smarter ways of working: Proactively identify opportunities to simplify processes, improve data quality and reduce manual effort, using NetSuite capabilities alongside automation and AI where they add value. Become a strong systems partner: build strong relationships with key stakeholders (across finance, operations and other departments), understand their pain points and translate them into system solutions.
• Team upskilling and development: Develop and upskill your two direct reports, building shared knowledge across NetSuite, Celigo and EDI, creating a resilient team where knowledge, processes and system ownership are effectively shared.

What we're looking for in you

• Proven NetSuite expertise: You've worked hands-on with NetSuite in a business-critical environment, managing configuration, workflows, troubleshooting and understanding what it takes to keep a system like this running at its best.
• Supply Chain & Finance process knowledge: You understand how NetSuite supports end-to-end processes across both Supply Chain and Finance (purchasing, inventory, manufacturing, order management, fulfilment and core financial processes). You understand how transactions flow through NetSuite and the operational and financial impact of system changes.
• Confident owning a business-critical system: You’re comfortable taking accountability for the health of the platform day-to-day, investigating issues, managing change, making sound decisions and knowing when specialist support is needed.
• A drive to improve, not just maintain: You proactively spot inefficiencies and have an open-minded approach to using automation tools & AI to find new ways of doing things.
• Strong stakeholder management: You can work well with stakeholders at all levels across the business to collaborate on day to day operations and changes required.
• Experience managing third parties: You've worked with implementation partners, vendors, or consultants to scope and deliver system projects.
• Calm under pressure: NetSuite issues don't wait for convenient timing, you can prioritise clearly and stay composed when things go wrong.
