Job summary

Ultra Intelligence & Communications in the UK seeks a senior Systems Engineer to lead the engineering delivery across multiple programmes. You will guide system architecture, integration, and design-for-cost/manufacture, ensuring compliance with lifecycle standards and tailored to defence contexts.

Lead a team of systems engineers, manage scope and budget, and collaborate with customers and suppliers to deliver robust, secure solutions in critical environments.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics.
• Strong Systems Engineering understanding and lifecycle expertise.
• Experience with requirements development and capability delivery.
• Proven ability to write high-quality technical documentation.
• Experience leading a team of systems engineers.

Responsibilities

• Architect and integrate complex system solutions across programmes.
• Manage engineering budget and monitor costs to completion.
• Coordinate engineering resources and reporting to customers.
• Identify risks and mitigate them to reduce impact on schedules.
• Drive continuous improvement and cost-effective design.
