Job summary

SEA Ltd in the United Kingdom seeks a Principal Systems Engineer to lead the design, development and support of naval protection systems. You will direct a multi-disciplinary team and own requirements management across the engineering lifecycle.

Based at Beckington, Bristol or Barnstaple with a weekly visit to Barnstaple and a flexible working arrangement. Salary for this role is up to £80k, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Degree in relevant engineering discipline.
• Extensive Systems Engineering Knowledge and experience of working within the Engineering Lifecycle and engineering / technical leadership.
• DOORS and MBSE experience.
• Defence or Aerospace experience.

Responsibilities

• Technical leadership of defined work packages.
• Leading and mentoring project team members.
• Managing Requirements throughout the Engineering Lifecycle.
• Proving Technical inputs to bidding activities.
• Integration and production qualification activities.
• Taking Prototypes and developing them into Products.
• Work Package Generation.
