Job summary

Leidos UK & EUROPE is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer for a hybrid role based in Whiteley, Hampshire. You will deliver systems engineering across complex programmes, define requirements, develop MBSE models, and support compliance and technical reviews.

SC clearance is required, and you will work with cross-functional teams on COTS and bespoke technologies to deliver integrated solutions.

Qualifications

Knowledge of systems engineering within complex environments.
Experience with architecture modelling tools and frameworks such as SysML, TOGAF, MODAF, ArchiMate, Cameo, or similar.
Ability to develop requirements, system models, and design artefacts.
Strong collaboration skills, working across multidisciplinary teams.
Experience assessing technical solutions and supporting design decisions.
Understanding of service-oriented, virtualised, or cloud-based environments.
Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

Deliver systems engineering activities across complex programmes.
Define and manage system requirements with stakeholders and suppliers.
Develop models, designs, and architecture artefacts using MBSE approaches.
Support compliance activities, technical reviews, and project milestones.
Produce engineering documentation, designs, and technical analyses.
Conduct trade studies and solution evaluations.
Contribute to the development of integrated solutions using COTS and bespoke technologies.
