Job summary

SEA is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to design, develop and support complex naval systems. The role involves progressing from design through testing, commissioning and in-service support, with responsibility for requirements management and MBSE leadership.

The position offers hybrid working and a salary up to £70k depending on experience. Based at Bristol, Beckington or Barnstaple, the role includes participation in bidding activities, integration, qualification, trials and testing, and work

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in engineering.
• Experience as a Systems Engineer within the Engineering Lifecycle.
• Good understanding of MBSE and requirements capture.
• Strong communication skills across teams and stakeholders.
• Leadership and team-leading abilities.

Responsibilities

• Define and manage requirements across the Engineering Lifecycle.
• Provide technical inputs to bidding activities.
• Coordinate integration and production qualification activities.
• Lead product trialing and testing activities.
• Create and execute work packages.
