Job summary

Motorsport Media Ltd is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to deliver bespoke hardware solutions for Formula 1 events, overseeing timing, televising and event organization. The role requires ownership from requirements to deployment and collaboration across multiple engineering disciplines.

The successful candidate will have a strong electronics background with 5+ years in high-performance hardware, and may have experience in broadcast or motorsport industries.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level in electronics engineering.
• Strong background in electronics hardware design from requirements to testing.
• Experience debugging hardware during system integration.
• Desirable: broadcast or motorsport industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Take technical ownership of complex hardware solutions from requirements through deployment.
• Lead electronics design translating system needs into robust hardware solutions.
• Design and review analogue, digital, power and mixed-signal circuitry and PCB layout.
• Lead board bring-up, debugging, verification and system integration.
• Define test strategies, plans and acceptance criteria with evidence of compliance.
• Mentor engineers and technicians, produce engineering documentation.
