Job summary

Martin-Baker Aircraft Co Ltd in Denham is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer (Electromechanical Systems) to lead the development of complex EMS and ensure system performance from concept to certification.

You will work within a cross-functional IPT, guiding electronics, software and mechanical engineers, mentoring teams and driving engineering quality across programmes. Hybrid work is possible after probation.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• Experience in aerospace/defence or regulated environments.
• Proven leadership of multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead systems engineering activities across work packages.
• Develop and manage system requirements and architecture.
• Produce technical documentation and verification evidence.
• Conduct feasibility studies and trade-off analyses.
• Perform system simulations and support testing.
• Mentor engineers and lead engineering quality efforts.
• Collaborate with customers, suppliers and IPTs.
• Travel within UK and overseas as required.
