Mondrian Alpha in London is seeking a Systems Engineer to own and enhance a broad infrastructure stack across Linux, cloud services and user-facing systems. You will drive automation and deployment through scripting and Infrastructure-as-Code, delivering projects from design through to implementation.

You will troubleshoot complex issues across servers, endpoints and cloud platforms, collaborating with senior engineers and business users.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of systems, infrastructure or platform engineering experience.
• Strong Linux fundamentals and hands-on AWS experience.
• Scripting ability in Python, Bash, PowerShell or similar.
• Experience with automation tooling such as Terraform, Ansible or equivalent.
• Strong technical judgement, curiosity and the ability to solve unfamiliar problems independently.
• A strong academic background in Computer Science, Engineering or another technical discipline.

Responsabilités

• Own and improve infrastructure across Linux, cloud and user-facing systems.
• Automate systems and operational workflows using scripting and Infrastructure-as-Code.
• Troubleshooting complex issues across servers, endpoints, cloud services and internal platforms.
• Deliver infrastructure projects from design through to implementation.
• Working closely with senior engineers and users across the investment business.
