Job summary

Quantum Motion Technologies is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, implement and operate scalable cloud infrastructure in AWS. You’ll build modular IaC, optimize storage, and automate deployments across a hybrid environment.

This role requires strong Linux expertise, Python/Bash scripting, and hands-on experience with IAM and security in enterprise settings. You will help shape our cloud strategy and mentor a growing team in London.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in deploying production-grade AWS workloads.
• Terraform (preferred) and CloudFormation for modular infra.
• Experience with high-performance cloud storage (EFS, FSx, EBS).
• Proficiency with Enterprise Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu/Rocky).
• Scripting in Python or Bash for automation.
• Experience with IAM and hybrid environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, provision, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure for high concurrency.
• Implement modular IaC to automate provisioning of secure environments.
• Maintain high-performance cloud storage and data backup strategies.
• Automate deployment, configuration, and auto-scaling of services and containers.
• Enforce Zero Trust security and automated configuration management.
• Provide expert support and mentor junior staff on best practices.
