Job summary

Trayport seeks a Systems Engineer in London to manage and support our private cloud and broader IT infrastructure. You will design, build and maintain systems that meet business requirements in a collaborative IT and InfoSec environment.

The role emphasizes automation and IaC, with strong use of Ansible, Terraform and Kubernetes, plus experience across Azure/AWS. You will contribute to BAU workstreams, patching, and internal projects in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Expert infrastructure oversight and internal IT infrastructure support.
• Strong automation and programmatic mindset with Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience managing an enterprise Linux estate in a corporate environment.
• Scripting skills in Bash or Python.
• Cloud exposure with focus on Azure and AWS.
• DevOps tooling deployment experience across modern stacks.
• VDI infrastructure experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and continuously improve internal IT infrastructure.
• Provide expert support to internal users and ensure service delivery.
• Deliver internal projects and BAU workstreams (patching and infrastructure support).
• Manage private cloud technology stack administration.
