Job summary

Orion Electrotech, a UK-based designer and manufacturer of bespoke Test & Assembly systems, seeks a Senior Systems Engineer to own hydraulic test rigs and control systems from concept to commissioning. You will lead system integration across electrical, mechanical and software disciplines, delivering cohesive, high-performance solutions.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in systems engineering or a similar role.
• Strong experience with hydraulic systems and test rigs.
• Proven ability to integrate multi-disciplinary systems.
• Skilled in producing system-level documentation and specifications.
• Knowledge of instrumentation, sensors, and data acquisition systems.
• Familiarity with relevant engineering and safety standards.
• Experience with high-pressure or safety-critical hydraulic systems.

Senior Systems Engineer

Orion is partnered with one of the UK’s leading specialists in the design and manufacture of bespoke Test & Assembly systems in various industries, with expertise in Aerospace.

They are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer with strong expertise in hydraulic test rigs and integration to join their dynamic engineering team. If you enjoy owning complex systems from concept to commissioning, tackling real-world engineering challenges, and working across disciplines, this is the role for you.

As a key member of the team, you will oversee the full lifecycle of hydraulic test rigs and control systems from requirements gathering and concept design to build, testing, and commissioning.
