Job summary

Liquidline is seeking a Senior Systems Accountant to lead the finance systems landscape and deliver improvements across order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, and record-to-report processes.

You will map data flows, drive automation, ensure data quality, and act as the finance SME on NetSuite implementations while building robust controls and governance.

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA with finance systems experience.

Responsibilities

• Review and improve finance processes, identifying opportunities for automation and increased efficiency.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, and record-to-report processes.
• Map, monitor and optimise data flows between finance systems and wider business platforms.
• Identify and resolve data quality, integrity and process control issues.
• Act as the finance lead on system implementations, upgrades and process transformation projects.
• Support and lead user acceptance testing (UAT), data migration and system rollouts.
• Serve as the finance subject matter expert during the ongoing NetSuite implementation.
• Develop reporting capabilities and support the creation of automated dashboards and management information.
• Ensure robust financial controls, audit trails and governance remain in place as systems evolve.
• Train and support users across the business on new systems and processes.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders and external implementation partners to ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification.
• Experience leading or playing a key role in finance system implementations, upgrades or large-scale process redesign projects.
• Strong understanding of core finance processes and controls.
• Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with large datasets and system structures.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across finance, IT and operational teams.
• Experience with reporting tools, SQL, Power Query or other business intelligence technologies.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
• Distribution, manufacturing, or multi-site business environments.
• Multi-entity accounting and intercompany trading.
• Lean, Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies.
• Project management qualifications such as Prince2 or AgilePM.
