South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture is recruiting Lead Swim Teachers for Larkhall Leisure Centre. Roles involve delivering quality swimming lessons across ages and abilities, adhering to H&S procedures and safeguarding requirements. PVG checks and SSTQ/SQA Level 7 qualifications are mandatory. Induction will precede any paid work.

Fixed-term contract until 31 March 2027 with shifts across Mon-Fri, evenings, weekends; training and development opportunities available.

Formación

• SSTQ or SQA Level 7 qualification
• PVG Scheme registration and induction before paid work

Responsabilidades

• Set up / take down equipment as required
• Provide regular communication and feedback with customers/participants and colleagues
• Plan sessions to match group level and activity goals
• Prepare for and deliver sessions following Health & Safety guidelines and risk assessments
• Deliver structured, progressive coaching sessions in line with governing body guidelines
• Assist Swim Development management with staff development and programme delivery
