South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture is seeking enthusiastic Lead Swim Teachers to deliver high‑quality swimming lessons across our nine pools. Applicants should hold SSTQ or SQA Level 7 qualifications, with PVG checks required before starting work.

Qualificações

• Applicants must hold a SSTQ or SQA Level 7 qualification.
• Please apply after you have achieved the qualification; PVG Scheme registration and induction are required before starting paid work.
• Overseas Criminal Records checks may be required for applicants born outside the UK or who have lived abroad.

Responsabilidades

• Set up / take down equipment where required.
• Ensure regular communication and feedback with customers/participants and colleagues.
• Plan sessions to match group level and activity goals.
• Prepare for and deliver sessions following Health and Safety guidelines and emergency procedures.
• Deliver a structured, progressive coaching session aligned with National Governing Body guidelines.
• Assist Swim Development management with staff development and programme delivery.
