Durham County Council is seeking a Senior Surveyor to join the Strategic Property Management team. You will manage the Council's extensive land and property estate, leading corporate estate tasks including acquisitions, disposals, valuations, lease renewals and rent reviews.

You will be a member of a team responsible for delivering the Council's Property Management Service. You will ensure the efficient management, use and occupation of the estate, working with colleagues to identify opportunities for rationalisation and disposal. Through the proactive management of the Council's land and property assets, you will lead on a range of corporate estate management activities including acquisitions, disposals, valuations, lease renewals, rent reviews, and other landlord and tenant and property management matters.
