Job summary

Leicester City Council is recruiting a Senior Supported Living Development Officer to help people from Adult Social Care understand housing options and move into suitable accommodation, promoting independence and wellbeing.

You'll lead day-to-day delivery across Supported Living, Extra Care and housing pathways, provide guidance to staff and partners, represent the service at multi-agency meetings, and help develop creative solutions that place people at the centre of decision-making.

Qualifications

• Experience of providing or overseeing social care, housing or health services for diverse communities.
• Ability to work across social care, health, housing and partners with strong communication.
• Sound knowledge of social care and housing legislation, policy and best practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day delivery of the Supported Living service with clear direction and motivation.
• Provide professional advice to staff, partners and stakeholders and manage risks.
• Represent the service at multi-disciplinary and multi-agency meetings and coordinate responses.
