Job summary

Ultra Maritime is a global leader in advanced maritime defence solutions. We seek a role focused on ensuring supportability of products, shaping design for support and developing the support solution architecture.

Under the Head of Support, you will apply sound engineering judgement, perform analyses, and prepare manuals while supporting continuous improvement across processes and policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree (or equivalent) in a related field.
• Experience in a range of roles within a complex engineering environment.
• Ability to develop supportability cases and assess system reliability.

Responsibilities

• Tailor the scope and scale of ILS activities with the ILS Project Lead.
• Collaborate with designers to improve reliability, maintainability and usability.
• Develop the support solution architecture and acquire necessary resources.
• Perform life cycle cost analyses and failure modes analyses.
• Elicit and derive support requirements and verification methods.
• Develop supportability cases and progressive assurance of solutions.
• Perform reliability modelling and maintainability analysis.
• Assess human factors and potential for human error.
• Prepare technical manuals and assist with hazard mitigation.
• Manage obsolescence strategy and drive continuous process improvements.
