Job summary

Agincare is seeking a Senior Support Worker in Devizes, Wiltshire, to oversee and deliver high-quality support for people living in supported living. You will split time between hands-on care and leadership/administrative tasks to ensure the service runs smoothly.

The role involves working with up to 38 people across 7 bungalows, providing direct support on shifts and contributing to service leadership. A UK driver’s licence and Level 2 Health and Social Care are required, with progression to

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months on your right to work in the UK.
• Full UK Driver's licence is required.
• Level 2 Health and Social Care and willingness to work towards Level 3.

Responsibilities

• Encouraging people to play active roles in their communities and promote independence.
• Supporting activities of daily living including personal care, meals, routines, and budgeting.
• Communicating effectively using people’s chosen methods.
• Engaging and motivating people to enhance their quality of life.
• Supporting people with positive behavioural support approaches as needed.
• Recording accurate records and reporting changes in health or circumstances to management.
• Being a team player and using initiative to contribute to the service.
