Dudley MBC is recruiting 4 Senior Support Workers for permanent roles across Dudley borough, with a 37-hour week and a flexible rota that includes weekends, evenings and bank holidays, for enhanced pay. The post offers Grade 6 pay (£29,542.00 to £32,046.00 per year) plus a 10% alternating shift allowance and various employee benefits.

Travel across the Dudley borough is likely, and applicants must provide evidence of right to work in the UK. An enhanced DBS check is required.

Aufgaben

• Taking delegated responsibility to enable people to be supported at home with their daily living activities.
• Supporting a community care service providing person centred support and opportunities for people and their carers.
• Looking after a team of designated staff in order to meet the requirements of service initiatives and developments, including all legislative standards, e.g. CQC, Care Act.
• Assisting in managing the demand for care capacity and ensuring safe discharge and care provision.
• Working at maximising a person’s independence to deliver their person-centred outcomes.
