Job summary

The Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Senior Health care support worker (Practice Education Support) to assist staff in nursing skills for frail elderly patients and to support their probationary development and Care Certificate completion. The role spans Capener, Kenn, Bovey and Ashburn wards.

You will work alongside the Registered Nurse and Practice Educator, with a focus on developing frontline staff and ensuring high standards of care within the Health care

We are looking to recruit a senior Health acre support worker to work alongside our Registered Nurse, Practice Educator. Both roles cover, Kenn, Bovey, Ashburn and Capener ward.

The applicant should be experienced in Healthcare for Older People. They should be able to work alongside and teach staff in the nursing skills required for this patient group. The role will primarily be focused on supporting staff with their probationary period and in helping them to complete their Care certificate. The band 6 Registered Nurse, Practice Educator will be directing the applicant as wll and the individual wards CNMs.

The team–The applicant will be working across the Health care for Older people teams on Capener, Kenn, Bovey and Ashburn. They will be lead by the Registered Practice Educator for HFOP.

Working Pattern: 7.5 hours Monday to Friday (Negotiable)
