Job summary

Keys Group is seeking a Senior Support Worker for our Moseley-based Evergreen residential service in South Birmingham. You will manage a team, deliver high-quality care per care plans, and promote community engagement while liaising with health professionals and families.

Qualifications

  • NVQ / QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care is required.
  • Experience leading a team of Support Workers is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of Support Workers.
  • Provide high standard of care in line with care plans.
  • Encourage community relationships through activities.
  • Accurately report and maintain records per care plans.
  • Liaise with health professionals and families.
  • Perform supervisions and audits.
  • Ensure duties are performed to required standards and create a positive home environment.

About Evergreen

Evergreen is a residential service located in the Moseley neighbourhood of South Birmingham, specialising in care for adults with complex additional support needs. Our welcoming home provides tailored support for individuals living with Mental Health needs.

As a Senior Support Worker, you will be involved in the day-to-day support and routine of the people within the service including:

  • Managing a team of Support Workers
  • Providing high standards of care and support for people we support, in line with care and support plans
  • Encourage good community relationships by promoting a variety of activities
  • Accurately report, record and maintain records as required and working to care plans
  • Liaise with health professionals and their families
  • Complete supervisions and audits
  • To ensure that all duties undertaken by reporting staff are performed to required standards, and that all such staff contribute in a positive manner to provide a happy, efficient and homely atmosphere within the Home.
