We are looking for a Senior Support Workerwho shares our purpose, to join our Accommondation Based Serviceswhere we house and support young people 16+ under Local Authority Care across Hereford.
We are looking for someone to work an average of 39.375 hours per week across a two week alternating shift pattern. This would involve: Week 1 - Mon, Tues, Saturday and Sunday working 8am to 8.15pm. Week 2 - Wed, Thurs and Fri working 8am to 8.15pm. This is on a fixed term contract which will last the 1st of August 2027.
We provide bespoke support packages to suit a broad range of young people ranging from 24/7 to a few hours per week. Our focus is to provide the highest quality of support in line with Ofsted Standards.We aim to enhance individuals' independence skills, empowering them to advance their aspirations with greater confidence and capability.
You’ll Re-enforce, positive support being delivered and establish the same standardsin new placements.
Provide a strengths-based, trauma-informed approach to empower young people in improvingindependent living skills.
Safeguard them from any potential danger, harm, or abuse.
Accurately document notes on our computer system and ensure seamless communication with support staff for effective handovers.
Have a Resilientnature, with the ability to keep a positive mindset even when times get tough.
