Job summary

Caring for Communities and People (CCP) is seeking a Senior Support Worker to join Accommodation Based Services in Hereford, supporting 16+ young people under Local Authority Care. The role involves a two-week alternating shift pattern and a fixed-term contract until 1 August 2027.

You will deliver bespoke, strengths-based, trauma-informed support to empower independence, document notes accurately, safeguard residents, and work with a supportive management team to ensure high-quality outcomes.

We are looking for a Senior Support Worker who shares our purpose, to join our Accommodation Based Services where we house and support young people 16+ under Local Authority Care across Hereford.

We are looking for someone to work an average of 39.375 hours per week across a two week alternating shift pattern. This would involve: Week 1 - Mon, Tues, Saturday and Sunday working 8am to 8.15pm. Week 2 - Wed, Thurs and Fri working 8am to 8.15pm. This is on a fixed term contract which will last the 1st of August 2027 .

We provide bespoke support packages to suit a broad range of young people ranging from 24/7 to a few hours per week. Our focus is to provide the highest quality of support in line with Ofsted Standards . We aim to enhance individuals' independence skills, empowering them to advance their aspirations with greater confidence and capability.
