Job summary

Vetro Recruitment is seeking a Senior Support Worker to join a new children's home in Farnham, Surrey. You will lead care delivery, implement individual care plans, and support young people with emotional and behavioural needs in a safe, therapeutic environment.

Applicants should have NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare or equivalent, at least 1 year in a supervisory role, a full UK driving licence, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare, Health & Social Care, or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience in residential care.
• Strong understanding of care plans and behaviour management.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Full UK driving licence (essential).
• Compassion, flexibility, and a genuine desire to support young people.

Responsibilities

• Creating a safe, structured, and nurturing environment for young people
• Supporting and implementing individual care plans and behaviour strategies
• Leading and participating in activities and outings to promote development
