Job summary

Autism Initiatives Group of Companies in Liverpool is seeking a Senior Support Worker to provide person-centred support in a local community setting. You will work to enable individuals to live as independently as possible and participate in community activities.

You will support the Service Manager and lead a team, with shifts including evenings and weekends. DBS clearance is required and cost covered by the employer.

Qualifications

• Commitment to supporting people in a positive, creative way.
• Ability to lead a team and deputise for the Service Manager.
• Willingness to undertake Diploma Level 3 in Adult Care (RQF).

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the team to help people live as independently as possible and participate in local community life.
• Deputise for the Service Manager when required.
• Work patterns include some evening and weekend shifts; rota provided 4 weeks in advance.
