Job summary

Priory in Juniper View is seeking a Senior Support Worker for a mix of day and night shifts. A full UK driving licence is required.

Juniper View is a new development with 11 apartments, supporting residents with primary learning disability and complex needs, with potential mental health and mobility considerations.

You will work with a compassionate team, help deliver person-centred care plans, supervise shifts, and contribute to training and safe, respectful practice.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Support Worker is essential.
• Strong leadership and communication skills are required.
• Ability to supervise, coach and motivate others.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support the delivery of person-centred care.
• Provide leadership during shifts, including handovers and role allocation.
• Ensure residents have person-centred plans and participate in meaningful activities.
• Deliver team supervisions and contribute to professional development.
• Administer medication safely and in line with procedures.
• Manage service users’ finances and contribute to budget management.
• Complete and oversee accurate record-keeping and reporting.
• Monitor and support team performance and address issues.
• Maintain up-to-date training and knowledge for safe practice.
