Job summary

Priory Group is seeking a Senior Support Worker for day shifts at Juniper View, a new development offering 11 apartments. A full UK driving licence is required; you will work 37.5 hours per week.

This role involves supervising the delivery of person-centred care, leading shifts, ensuring care plans exist, and maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Support Worker or Senior Support Worker is essential.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to supervise, coach, and motivate others.
• A full UK driving licence for insurance purposes.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support the delivery of person-centred care.
• Provide leadership during shifts, including handovers and role allocation.
• Ensure residents have person-centred plans and participate in activities.
• Deliver team supervisions and contribute to staff development.
• Administer medication safely and in line with procedures.
• Manage service users’ finances and contribute to budget management.
