Job summary

Priory is recruiting for a Senior Support Worker to join the Juniper View development in Belfast, working night shifts. A full UK driving license is required. The role focuses on supporting residents with learning disabilities and complex needs, including mobility or mental health considerations.

You will lead a compassionate team, deliver person-centred care plans, and ensure safe, high-quality services while promoting dignity and independence for residents.

Qualifications

• Leadership and supervision experience is essential.
• Strong communication and team coordination skills.
• Ability to supervise, coach, and motivate others.
• Commitment to dignity, respect, and independence of residents.
• Knowledge of care standards, safeguarding and policy compliance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support the delivery of person-centred care.
• Provide leadership during shifts, including handovers and role allocation.
• Ensure residents have person-centred plans and meaningful activities.
• Deliver team supervisions and contribute to staff development.
• Administer medication safely in line with procedures.
• Manage service users’ finances and contribute to budget adherence.
• Complete and oversee accurate record-keeping and reporting.
• Monitor team performance and address operational issues.
• Maintain up-to-date training for safe practice.
