Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Support Worker or Senior Support Worker is essential.
• Full UK driving licence is required.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Committed to dignity, independence and person-centred care.
• Knowledge of care standards and safeguarding practices.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support the delivery of person-centred support and care.
• Provide leadership during shifts, including handovers and role allocation.
• Ensure residents have person-centred plans and access meaningful activities.
• Deliver team supervisions and contribute to staff development.
• Administer medication safely and in line with procedures.
• Manage service users’ finances and contribute to budget management.
• Complete and oversee accurate record-keeping and reporting.
• Monitor and support team performance and address operational issues.
• Maintain up-to-date training and knowledge for safe practice.
