Qualifications

• Experience working in health or social care
• Experience providing personal care and supporting daily living needs

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support Support Workers, maintaining high care standards
• Provide person-centred support to residents with complex needs
• Assist with personal care and daily living activities, promoting dignity and independence
• Safely administer medication and maintain records
• Develop and review care plans and risk assessments
• Support mobility and residents with disabilities
• Organise activities, outings and meaningful occupation
• Attend MDT meetings and contribute to care planning
• Work alongside nurses, families and the care team
• Record incidents and report changes in residents’ wellbeing
• Support mealtimes and maintain cleanliness, health and safety
• Medication training and competence in safe handling of medication
