Job summary

A leading health and social care charity in the United Kingdom is looking for a Senior Support Worker at Ashwood Court Residential. Job description

Senior Support Worker – Ashwood Court Residential (Lowton, WA3 2RB)

Salary: £23,129.60 per annum. Hours: 32 hours per week, with occasional sleep‑in shifts paid at an additional rate.

This role is based at Ashwood Court Residential in Lowton. The Senior Support Worker will supervise and delegate tasks to a team of support workers, ensuring values‑based support is delivered to the highest standards.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and delegate responsibilities to support staff.
  • Support adults with learning disabilities, dementia, mental health and other physical conditions on a person‑centred basis.
  • Carry out tasks as per care plans, including medication administration.
  • Assist with accessing the community and domestic tasks such as shopping and daily living activities.
  • Reschedule or manage sleep‑in duties as required.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Previous experience as a Support Worker (or Senior Support Worker) is essential.
  • Knowledge of person‑centred care plans and medication administration.
  • Ability to work with diverse adult populations including those with learning disabilities, dementia, mental health conditions.
  • Valid DBS and ability to pass referral checks.
