Job summary

Cygnet Group in Blakeney, Gloucestershire, seeks a confident Senior Support Worker to join our specialist residential service. You will work 42 hours per week across two houses, delivering person-centred care to people with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs.

You’ll lead with empathy, guidance, and support while adhering to high safety standards. Successful applicants will undergo an enhanced DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Support both management and team members in the day-to-day running of the service.
• Ensure duties are allocated effectively and safely.
• Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all residents.
• Provide guidance and encouragement through physical and emotional support.
• Learn about individuals’ specific needs and provide help in the most appropriate way.
• Assist with medical and welfare needs and report as required.
• Safeguard residents and maintain a safe and clean environment.
